[Structure and Features]
The quenching tower and quenching tank made of impervious graphite are usually used for rapid cooling of high temperature gas (corrosive flue gas, chlorine-containing waste liquid incineration gas).
Urgent but principle:
1. The vaporization of the spray liquid removes heat;
2, graphite wall heat transfer takes away heat;
3. The temperature of the spray liquid is lower than the gas temperature, and heat conversion is performed between each other. In operation. The direction in which the gas and liquid flow is generally countercurrent. The liquid is evenly sprayed from the top of the tower through the spraying device, the gas rises uniformly from the bottom of the tower, and the gas-liquid two phases pass through the surface of the filler to contact each other, thereby transferring heat and mass.
The graphite quenching tower and the quenching tank have the advantages of simple structure, convenient manufacture, large pressure drop, strong adaptability and large processing capacity.
